Up around 8:30 or 9:00 or so. Got a phone call from TheWife pretty early on; a NICU nurse was being pretty aggressive about supplementing with formula, and TheWife wasn't sure what to do. Once I got into the hospital, we backed the (well-meaning, I think) nurse down a little bit. We all had the same goal: getting Rose off the IV so that she could get out of the NICU; we just were wanting to try different means of getting there. The eventual compromise was to have TheWife start pumping (which she had already been doing) to try and bring her milk in early, and to get some stuff into a bottle so that Ro could take it down a bit more easily (and so the NICU docs would have a nice quantifiable to know that she was eating something).

After settling that mess down, I headed out to grab some lunch, and then came home and took a brief nap. Once I got back up, it was back to the mines for the afternoon feeding. After we got done with that, we got the welcome news that Rose was getting moved from the NICU into Peds (yay! yay!) later that evening.

Once we heard that, we hurried to get TheWife discharged, then moved all our gear down to the Peds room we were assigned. It's a fairly nice room (hell, it's a nice hospital overall), and it's private, so things should be okay (or at least better) for the remainder of our stay. Eventually, the NICU evening shift change was over, and we were able to get Ro discharged from NICU, and moved into the room over in Peds. By the time that happened, it was dinner time for Ro, so we did a feeding (breast-only, this time -- no more bottles for now), and then spent some bonding time while we waited for the nurse to come in and finish the admission paperwork.

I ended up leaving about 10 pm. Came home, ate dinner, watched a bit of television, and then hit the sack about 11 or 11:30.
I think we may be out of the woods.
