Slept in a little bit, it being Sunday and all. 8^)= Blew off the exercise as well. Morning time was mainly spent loafing around, reading the paper, and having a spot of breakfast.
Once I got up and moving, I made a quick trip into work to swap some stuff around on my desk (new monitor, new vid card, etc.). On the way home, I decided to make a side jaunt into Best Buy. I emerged some time later to discover that I'd apparently purchased some DVDs (including Dogtown and Z-Boys) and a PlayStation2 game (the Gauntlet one). Not quite sure how that happened.
Returned home and wasted away the next several hours playing said new PlayStation game. Eventually had to stop, come dinner time. Enjoyed a lovely roast beast dinner while watching Dogtown and Z-Boys, which was pretty good.
Got a call from Mom after we had finished dinner, but before we finished the movie. Gave her the news about the birth schedule and chatted a bit about the funeral and the aftermath. Sounds like she's doing okay, which is good.
After the movie, retired to the office, with a plan to catch up on the email that I've been neglecting for some time. Somehow, plan never quite gelled, and I ended up working on a site redesign instead. Yes, boys and girls, if all goes well, hopefully the blog will be back on the *.org by September -- but don't quote me on that.
Nice quiet Sunday, all in all.
