Slept in a bit; ended up getting out of bed around 10 am. TheWife made some breakfast, and the three of us lazed around and ate it. We also watched a little TV, and bantered about what we were going to do all day. D., our guest, just recently had a birthday, so we did the present exchange. He was pretty happy with the copy of WarCraft III. It ended up getting installed on the iBook after a bit.
After TheWife and I grabbed showers (D. had gotten up insanely early and had already bathed), we headed out to Chevy Chase Beverage to buy beer for a party we were going to. We then had lunch in Bethesda (Mongolian barbaque), and D. and I hit the comic book store while TheWife checked out a flea market. Finally, we hit CompUSA, because D. was looking for an audio cable to let him rip casette tapes into MP3s. Somehow, a copy of WarCraft III fell into my basket while we were there.
Came back home at that point. TheWife took a nap, I read comic books, and D. played WarCraft III. At about 8, we headed out to the party we were going to. Got a bit lost on the day down there, but eventually arrived about 9 pm or so. Spent a couple of hours just hanging out in J.'s back-yard, talking and drinking. It was a good time. 'Round midnight, we took off, and made the long haul back home. Once we got there, everybody went to bed.
