Up a bit early, as we had a shopping trip planned. Had a quick mail/web run (well, "quick", relatively speaking, I guess), played around with the dual monitor goodness a bit more (shiny!), and then hopped in the car and headed out. Brief stop for gas, then it was off to White Marsh Mall, up Baltimore way. We did a bit of browsing, had a spot of lunch at Don Pablos (best Mexican food chain we've found out here, not that that's saying much), did a bit more browsing in a different set of shops, then girded our loins and headed into the maw of the hellmouth: Ikea. We were looking for a small dresser for TheBaby, and managed to find one without too much fuss. We also escaped without consuming mass quantities, so I guess it was a win.
Piled back into TheCar, and jetted home, via short stops at the library and Target. Lugged everything upstairs, including the dresser. (Pant, pant) Had a bit of a laydown, then got up and started to play with WineX. Had to blow away the "virtual directory" a couple of times, but I know have installed copies of StarCraft and Baldur's Gate on my Linux system, and they appear to pretty much work. Yay.
Dinner was pasta with white sauce and bread, and while we ate, we watched the Prologue stage of the Tour. There were quite a few amazing rides, but I don't think too many people were surprised when Armstrong thundered out of the gate and bettered everyone's time by over a second. I have a strong feeling it's going to be the Lance Armstrong/US Postal show this year, and that's fine by me.
Back to StarCraft playing after dinner, finishing mission #5 before falling into bed around 1 am.
Nice productive day on the home front...
